I just recieved it today in the mail. A license lien...Strange, I have been to ritzville once. Met some cool people. That was 1994/95! WTF?
they are all working together in this system to screw you completely because they have zero money in this town. make sure you bend over and go limp because similiar charges in other cities is trippled in this town. how half these people in the court system can sleep at night is a mystery to me.
They do not take kindly to drunk drivers. The nearest lawyer for DUI defense is in spokane and he charges a flat fee of $1800 even if it goes to trial. Worth the money since they treat this as a very serious offense there. Good luck getting a plea bargain better than "reckless driving" Good news though is, if you do get a DUI the jail isnt too bad, other than the food, but hey, you dont have to eat it, you will be out the next day if its your 1st offense. The impound lot is convienently near by too to pick up your viechle, just make sure you have 212 dollars to get it out.
The worst experience I have ever had with any locality. An excessive speedtrap in shitty town with horrific policies. Avoid this place at all cost.
